Position Summary

Introductory class in Oboe techniques for Music Education students. Students shall demonstrate effective pedagogical skills and gain performing competence sufficient to teach the instrument in an elementary and secondary classroom environment.

This is a 6-week course (January 11, 2027 – February 26, 2027).

Qualifications – Required: Master’s Degree in Music, oboe teaching experience at the post-secondary or secondary level.

Qualifications - Asset: Doctorate in Music education; professional experience teaching Oboe in non-institutional settings.

Salary: $4,956.88
