Step into Howmet Aerospace, a global leader in investment casting of superalloys, aluminum, and titanium for jet aircraft and industrial gas turbines. Our Hampton, VA IGT facility depends on meticulous, multi-skilled maintenance professionals to keep advanced manufacturing assets safe, accurate, and efficient.
Why this role matters
Every perfectly cast component starts with reliable equipment. You’ll train on 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7am–3pm), then transition to either 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3pm–11pm) or 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 11pm–7am). New hires start at $41.70/hour, plus a $1.00/hour premium while on an off-shift.
What you’ll do
- Plan and execute PMs on motors, pneumatics, conveyors, and production machines using diagrams, manuals, and engineering specs.
- Troubleshoot with precision instruments; verify electrical characteristics; resolve issues on 480Vac power and 120Vac controls.
