Municipal Engineer

Weston & Sampson is seeking a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager with at least 7 years of experience in our Suffern, New York office location. This individual will lead our Municipal Engineering work.


What you’ll do on a day-to-day basis :

Presently the Suffern office services three Rockland County Villages. Following are customary specific tasks to be performed for the Villages:

+ Support Mayor and Trustees/ Clerk/Administrator

+ General assistance

+ Regular Village Hall visits- varies

+ Provide expert witness testimony for lawsuits.

+ Support Building Department/Planning/Zoning

+ Review, assist with zoning, master plan updates.

+ Code interpretation

+ Floodplain admin/ floodplain interpretation.

+ Support DPW

+ Capital Improvement Projects:

+ Evaluate project, prep concept, develop scope, develop project narrative.
