NA/UC - Inpatient Adult Unit (.6 Straight Nights & Every Other Weekend)

This position is a 0.6 FTE (48 hrs./pay period); Night shifts, 8-hour shifts, every other weekend 8-hour shifts for newly remodeled Inpatient Adult Unit at our St. Paul Campus. Certification as Nursing Assistant preferred. ***This role will require day hours for new employee onboarding for the first 8 weeks of employment. ***
Purpose of Position:
Clerical support is provided to the nursing departments through coordination of communication, transcription of provider orders, and maintenance of unit supplies. Patient care is provided by assisting the professional nurse in meeting basic activity of daily living (ADL) needs of the patient while maintaining an orderly and safe physical environment.
Specific duties are determined by the work setting or patient population served; however, in all positions, serving patients with challenging and complex conditions requires a concentration of specialized staff able to work in highly coordinated teams. We organize ...
