Network and Firewall Specialist

Title : Network and Firewall Specialist (Palo Alto)

Reports to: IT Operations Connectivity Product Lead/Network Architect

Qualifications/Key Responsibilities:

• Subject matter expert for network security firewalls: Palo Alto, Fortinet or equivalent is a must, preferable minimum of 6 years’ experience. Advantage with certification and training.

• Be subject matter expert for Cisco Networks (Routing and Switch) and SDWAN Technology, Wireless, Voice, and Video. Advantage with certification.

• Responding, resolving, and troubleshooting 2nd level Support issues on all IT Network and Firewall areas

• Resolve issues escalated by the 1st level support team.

• Diagnose and rectify any problems with the network and firewalls and associated peripherals.

• Maintain our firewalls and stay updated on any released security vulnerabilities and how they affect our network.
