Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship or degree in IT (e.g. system engineering, network engineering, or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of experience in network engineering and security engineering
- Strong experience with firewall and VPN technologies
- Hands‑on experience with technologies such as Fortinet, Cisco, Arista, OpenStack or OpenVPN
- Strong understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP, BGP, Anycast, IPv6)
- Experience operating Linux‑based systems
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems
- Professional proficiency in English (must‑have) and ideally German
- Nice to have: Experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
