Opportunity Description
Job Summary:
A Neurodiagnostic Technologist performs all of the functions of an EEG Technician (36766) plus special procedure EEGs and monitors additional physiological phenomena by means of appropriate techniques under minimal supervision. Those techniques include but are not limited to Nerve Conduction studies, Visual Evoked Responses and intra-operative EEG monitoring. May provide training to EEG technologists and physicians.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Upholds Kaiser Permanentes Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities and applicable state, federal and local laws.
+ Performs all the duties of an EEG Technologist.
+ Performs Nerve Conduction studies under the supervision of a Neurologist.
+ Records and assists in the analysis of video, ambulatory, and telemetry EEG for neonates, children and adults.
