News Producer - Full Time

WPHL-TV is seeking a News Producer with creative ideas to join our team. In this role you would produce daily newscasts, decide the order in which stories will be told, write teases and other content, time news programs, and posts news content across all media platforms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•Deciding which stories are of most interest to our news viewers

•Work with news management and other producers to create the show’s rundown and manage workflow for a team, that includes other producers, photographer/editors, and others

•Contribute to the overall editorial process in the newsroom

•Determine the order in which stories will be told in broadcasts and balances news and feature content to create compelling newscasts
