Job Title: Newspaper Designer
We are a newspaper organization seeking a detail-oriented and creative individual to support our production team. The role involves designing page layouts, editing and formatting text files, organizing paragraphs for readability, and converting data into clean, publication-ready tables. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, excellent language skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Work Schedule: 9 PM to 5 AM EST (Monday - Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and format newspaper pages according to editorial and branding standards
- Edit and proofread text files for grammar, clarity, and consistency
- Structure and organize paragraphs for improved readability and flow
- Convert raw data into well-formatted tables and visual elements
- Collaborate with editors, writers, and production staff to meet publication schedules
