Corewell Health Orthopedic Trauma offers an excellent full-time opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider.
The Orthopedic Trauma section provides integrated musculoskeletal care to patients with unplanned presentations. Common presenting conditions include fractures due to trauma, pathologic fractures related to osteoporosis, and infections and other acute abnormalities of bone or muscle. Patients are followed through treatment of their presenting pathology until fully treated or referral to subspecialist deemed appropriate.
The Ortho-trauma APP will, under the direction of the attending physicians and with the assistance of the orthopedic residency program provide excellent clinical care to that population.
Duties involved include: operative assisting, daily rounding, coordination of patient care with multiple additional medical, surgical, and ancillary services, performance of initial consultations, performance of minor orthopedic pr...
