Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Neurologist nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work locum shifts in Providence Rhode Island (RI). Starting in October 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Neurology role:

• Reason for Coverage: Extra Volume
• EMR: Epic
• Coverage Dates (Specific, long term only): October 2025 February 2026.
• Shift Schedule Details & Shift Duration: Ø 3 twelve hour shifts per week, 6:30pm-7:00am (36 hours per week), must work every other weekend
• Type of Patients/Cases: Neuro Critical Care, Stroke
• Patients per Day/Volume: 4-9
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• Number of Beds: 18
• Trauma Level: I
• Miscellaneous Information: Would consider a candidate with mixed ICU experience as long as they have competence and confidence managing neuro conditions like stroke
