A well-established organisation operating within the manufacturing sector is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive new / recently qualified SAIPA Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers broad exposure across the full accounting function and will suit someone who enjoys working in a structured, operationally driven environment.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting operational decision-making through clear financial insight.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial reporting packs including management accounts, trial balance, income statement and balance sheet reporting.
Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including accruals, work in progress, goods in transit and asset clearing.
Analyse management accounts and provide commentary on expenses in collaboration with operational teams.
