Nurse Educator

Position

We are seeking a Nurse Educator in Emergency nursing to complement our team at Te Toka Tumai's Adult Emergency Department & Clinical Decision Unit.

The Nurse Educator is responsible for promoting, facilitating and providing clinical education to maximise health care delivery, enhance patient outcomes, promote clinical excellence and evidence-based professional nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with experience in an Emergency and acute assessment unit setting.
• At least 5 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in a senior level (level 3-4).
• Proven project management and/or nursing leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to clinical leadership, quality care delivery and ongoing professional development.
• Ideally have recently completed or be studying toward a relevant postgraduate qualification.
