**Summary:**
The Nurse Intern (NI) is a member of the health care team who performs PCT/PST skills and skills acquired in the first semester of nursing school. Skills are performed in the patient care setting under the direction and supervision of an RN include urinary catheter, IV reseal DC and sterile technique.
