Job Summary
This position is regional. The CNM hired for this position will work variable shifts at Troy Hospital and William Beaumont University Hospital. Shifts are primarily 12 hours and will be assigned in the OB Emergency Department at both hospitals and Labor & Delivery (WBUH only). Shifts will primarily be midnights, other shifts as needed and will include weekends.
The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)-II is an advanced practice nurse who provides full scope midwifery care. The CNM provides care to the patient which is delivered during the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods. The CNM also provides care to the gynecologic patient in the clinic/office setting.
