Summary
JOB SUMMARY The Nurse, under the medical direction of the clinic physicians and the administrative direction of the Clinic Manager, provides professional nursing care to patients at the Northeast Regional Corrections Center (NERCC); coordinates patient care with members of the health care team; educates patients on the care plan; reviews and completes patient RX refill requests, oversees the flow of care and assists in continuous quality improvement efforts; supervises clinical tasks of Health Technician staff; assists Clinic Manager and medical staff with development, implementation and evaluation of practice standards, policies and procedures.
