The NP demonstrates the advanced knowledge, skills, and credentialing required to function in advanced practice and expanded specialty nursing. The NP has the responsibility and accountability for the assessment and management of patients, including ordering diagnostic tests, consultations, therapeutic interventions and the day to day implementation and evaluation of an appropriate plan of care.
