VA Boston Healthcare System Medicine program has two (2) services which are supported by Advanced Practice Practitioners (APPs). This includes five (5) Inpatient Teaching Teams staffed by medical residents, a supervising attending, and an embedded GIM APP. Our medical service also runs one (1) non-resident team (the Direct Care team) staffed by APPs and an Attending Physician.
