Nurse Practitioner MRP (NP-MRP) Perinatal and Paediatric

Position Summary

Reporting to the Patient Services Manager, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) role will support and enhance an interprofessional team model inclusive of the NP scope of practice within the Perinatal and Paediatric Program. The primary role of the Perinatal and Paediatric NP will include Most Responsible Provider (MRP) for well-newborns and outpatient newborn follow-up in the hyperbilirubinemia clinic. Secondary roles may include roles within NP-MRP post-acute team and outpatient areas as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Lead Patient Care as MRP: Take on the role of Most Responsible Provider (MRP), where you will have the authority to admit, discharge, and manage patients independently in a hospital setting. You’ll be at the forefront of patient care, guiding them through every step of their hospital journey.
