Nurse Practitioner Neonatal Inpatient Medicine

**Position Highlights**

+ Inpatient Neonatology Position at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station
+ 7 On / 7 Off Schedule providing excellent work-life balance
+ Approximately 62 hours per pay period
+ On-site coverage from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM with phone call coverage only from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Monday-Friday
+ Weekend coverage limited to 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM while on service
+ No overnight call requirements
+ Manage approximately 16 patients per day
+ Responsibilities include:
+ Neonatal patient management
+ Hospital admissions
+ Newborn rounding
+ Circumcisions
+ Coordination of care with multidisciplinary teams
+ Collaborative care model with:
+ Neonatologists
+ Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
+ Registered Nurses
+ Social Workers
+ Dedicated unit support staff
+ Structured onboarding with support from experienced APPs already practicing within the department
