Nurse (Specialty Clinic Coordinator)

Responsibilities Responsible for guiding and directing the patient care services provided to inmates assigned to various specialty clinics such as the Urology, Surgical, EENT, Orthopedic, OB-GYN, Neurology, and Mental Health specialty clinics conducted by primary care provider teams (PCPT) as well as external contract medical specialists performing on-site services. Coordinates and provides patient care/clinical support. Responsible for scheduling the outpatient clinics, serving as the contact person for communication relating to external contract medical specialists, which include gathering pre-clinic health information, receiving after-care reports, and scheduling related diagnostic testing.
