OB Lactation Consultant

**Full-time| Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm| PG13| Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position.**
**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** The certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is a clinical expert in human lactation and breastfeeding. The lactation consultant provides specialized lactation service in the hospital and clinic setting. You are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patients’ lactation needs to ensure the highest level of lactation support and education for prenatal and postnatal mothers and infants.
**Primary Tasks:**
1. Make clinical assessments and use current lactation theories and research to develop evidence-based feeding plans that address individual feeding issues.
2. Identify and establish the lactation and educational needs of the prenatal and postnatal mother and infant.
