**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
**OB Postpartum Unit Description:**
The OB Postpartum department at Longmont United Hospital has 11 LDRP beds, six Level II Special Care Nursery beds, two ORs and a three-bed triage. Our scope is Labor and Delivery, postpartum couplet care (mom & well baby), antepartum care, C-sections, Level II nursery and care for babies 32 weeks and up. Our department gets occasional overflow with gynecological surgery patients.
We have a strong, supportive culture with all BirthPlace employees and providers and provide a very positive team environment. The right candidate must have a positive attitude and want to work in a strongly supportive team environment. They need to be able to learn quickly and be someone who can multitask and handle ongoing change without getting flustered. This person will need to be flexible and able to work at a fast pace.
