Registrar, Obstetrics & Gynaecology – Waikato Hospital (Permanent, Fulltime)

About the Role

We are a RANZCOG training department offering learning opportunities in specialist gynaecology areas including gynae‑oncology, minimal access surgery, urogynaecology, colposcopy, high‑risk obstetrics, and a dedicated pre‑term birth clinic. The role requires acute gynaecology and obstetrics experience, as well as antenatal care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The registrar will work within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to after‑hour rostering, and participate in weekly protected teaching, CTG education, monthly perinatal morbidity & mortality meetings, and multidisciplinary review meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute gynaecology and obstetric care across surgical, medical and antenatal disciplines.
