Off Aircraft Avionics Specialist

The Off Aircraft Avionics Specialist is experienced and skilled electrical supervisor undertaking a range of detailed maintenance activities in the aircraft battery, air & electric bays, demonstrating the ability to derive diagnostic techniques. Is responsible for development of off-aircraft testing procedures and asset recovery. Responsible for meeting agreed delivery targets at a tactical level. Demonstrates people management and leadership skills. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining airworthiness through appropriate task delegation and authorisation on the aircrafts air & electrical component activities and will be able to demonstrate an awareness of broader external dependencies and identify areas for continuous improvement.
