Overview
The Oncology Data Specialist is responsible for the collection, management, and analysis of data on persons with the diagnosis of a cancer. Oncology Data Specialists analyze complex patient cancer data, abstract, code and report cancer statistics. Must ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness, and quality of the cancer data that is abstracted for use in patient care improvement.
