See 20-25 patients per day in a hospital inpatient service settingHandle malignant and benign oncology cases, including inpatient malignant medical oncology patients and all ranges of hematology consultsLead the medical oncology team, supervising Advanced Practice Providers and seeing all new consultsSupport staff includes 1 APP Monday through Friday and 1 APP on weekends to assist with rounding on the busier serviceInpatient call expectations include 8-10 hour days with overnight call handled from home for medical oncology-specific calls only, scheduled one week at a time (Monday 8:00 AM to following Monday 8:00 AM), with flexible schedulingOutpatient coverage includes hematology and medical oncology with an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule and no call requirements; overnight call from home is an option to...
