+ This is a PRN position to cover planned and unplanned absences or when needed based on clinic operations. Clinic hours are M-F 8-5
Job Details:
1. Schedule and pre-register patients for provider appointments, infusion treatment visits, procedures, and other appointments using different EMRs (Epic and Aria) and contexts.
2. Confirms, enters, and/or updates all required demographic data on patient and guarantor on registration system. Avoids overlays and duplicate patient medical records. Utilize 5 identifiers to ensure the correct patient is selected.
3. Coordinate complex schedules for oncology patients who may be receiving treatment across the Cancer Center Departments (Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Infusion, and lab) utilizing multiple system applications: various scheduling applications, clinical operating systems, eligibility verification systems, medical necessity applications, scanning ...
