OPERATIONAL MANAGER NURSING (SPECIALITY)- (MOU)

Qualifications

• Basic R425 qualification (Diploma/Degree in nursing) or equivalent that allows registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse.
• Post‑basic nursing qualification, advanced midwifery and neonatal nursing science, with a duration of at least 1 year, accredited with SANC in the specialty referred above.
• Health Service Management or Nursing Administration qualification with a duration of at least 1 year, accredited with SANC.
• A minimum of 9 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse in General Nursing.
• At least 5 years of experience in Maternal, child and women’s Health with emphasis on labour and post‑natal wards, after obtaining the 1‑year post‑basic qualification and being registered with SANC.
• Knowledge of code of conduct, labour relations and related policies.
