Opportunity Description
Position Summary:
The Transportation Temperature Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of temperature-sensitive goods within the Warehouse Distribution Center. This position is responsible for accurately recording the temperature of all refrigeration units and managing the reception of delivery drivers upon their arrival.
Main Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Receive incoming drivers upon arrival, conduct interviews and prepare documentation related to:
+ + Temperature monitoring and recording
+ Continuous Temperature
+ Manifest Temperature
+ Yard Truck Temperature
+ Inspection of trucks and refrigerated units—if any defects or damage are found, report them to the refrigeration staff or a mechanic.
+ Verify that all cargo slings are present upon return from the route.
+ Check the fuel tanks for any damage and verify whether they are full or empty.
