Operations - Contract Assistant

Role

As part of the W S Solutions team, you will support the Transport Planner in servicing the allotted contracts, ensuring high level of procedure compliance. You will work with large‑scale well‑known customer brands and multiple carriers across the UK.

Shift Pattern

Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week or Tuesday‑Friday, 40 hours per week.

Location

Ashby de la Zouch, LE65 1JR.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Transport Planner in day‑to‑day activities.
• Act as primary point of contact for collection depots.
• Collate and book collection times with relevant depots.
• Monitor trailer pool across all depots.
• Proactively monitor all areas of key sensitivity and provide clear, concise reporting of issues.
• Chase collections and raise an issue log for any anomalies.
