Summary This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Chief Readiness Support Officer, Aviation Integration and Resources. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior advisor and principal operations manager for the Chief Aviation Officer for all Department of Homeland Security aviation activities. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position. Responsibilities As a Operations Director (DHS AIR), GS-0301-15, your typical work assignments may include: Monitoring aviation operations across Department of Homeland Security components. Coordinating aviation support including events, crisis response, and joint operations. Directing operational aspects of the Department of Homeland Security Flight Program Safety Management System.
