Opportunity Description
**Job Summary**
The Lease Operator II is responsible for the overall daily operation and maintenance for a specified group of oil and gas wells. The Operator II is a mid-level position and requires minimal supervision.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Performs daily operational checks of assigned wells and production facilities.
+ Prepares maintains, and submits daily reports and records of daily gas and/or liquid volume, well pressure, volume of chemicals used, etc.
+ Conducts production test using established procedures.
+ Performs minor equipment repairs.
+ May operate production and injection equipment.
+ Witnesses purchaser's gauges and tests, ensuring accuracy of run tickets.
+ Represents the company in delivery of materials.
+ Basic knowledge of compliance activities/OSHA requirements.
+ Performs basic troubleshooting and corrections on systems.
+ Basic knowledge of instrumentation usage.
+ Other duties as assigned.
