Ophthalmologist

Clinical Duties:

• Conduct outpatient consultations for general ophthalmic and cataract patients.
  

• Perform detailed eye examinations, including slit-lamp, refraction, and fundus evaluations.
  

• Diagnose and manage various eye conditions, with a focus on age-related cataracts.
  

• Counsel patients regarding cataract surgery, lens options (monofocal, multifocal, toric), and expected outcomes.
  

• Perform minor procedures in OPD as needed (e.g., IOP measurement, lacrimal syringing, etc.).
  

• Refer surgical candidates to the OT or schedule accordingly.
  

• Post-operative follow-up and management of cataract patients.
