Opportunity Description
**The Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science at the University of Arizona-Tucson and Banner University Medical Group is actively seeking one or more Comprehensive, Contact Lens or Pediatric Optometrists to join our growing Department.**
**Position Detail:**
The selected individual(s) will have a focus on specialty contact lenses, or pediatrics or comprehensive eye care, depending on training and experience. Clinical services are provided at the Banner University Medicine Ophthalmology Clinic in Tucson, with 9 half-daily clinical sessions per week. Our ophthalmology residency program has 4 residents per year and an enthusiastic commitment to teaching is desired. The preferred candidate(s) will also possess an interest in clinical research.
**The position will have an academic faculty appointment with the University of Arizona-Tucson - College of Medicine at a rank consistent with the candidates credentials.**
