JOB OVERVIEW Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery NP/PA Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Atlanta, GA 30339 Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Jul 22, 2026 Oct 30, 2026 Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8a 5p Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Vendor PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Orthopedic Surgery (combination of Hand, Joints, and Sports patients) Average Daily Volume: 21 FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Eligible Licenses: Licensed in GA Certifications: BLS Duties & Responsibilities Provide outpatient orthopedic care focusing on hand, joint, and sports patients. Work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, in a scheduled clinical hours only model. Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 21 patients. Utilize Epic EMR for all patient documentation and charting. Collaborate with the facility team to deliver supplemental coverage as needed.
