Opportunity Description
UPMC Harrisburg is hiring a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to help support the CTICU - Day Shift.
The ideal candidate has a strong interest and some experience in critical care and/or cardiac surgery, and about 2 years of APP experience.
Hours: Days
Location: 111 S Front St, Harrisburg, PA 17101 - UPMC Harrisburg Hospital
Position Specifics:
Patient Load: CTICU census of 6-10, management of cardiac surgery patients, stat consults, and ER admissions to cardiac surgery
* No Outpatient Call: Focus entirely on inpatient care and critical interventions
* Procedural Skill Utilization: Central and arterial line cannulation, ventilator management, airway management, and point-of-care ultrasound preferred
* Clinical Leadership: Identify and drive opportunities for innovation in care delivery and workflow improvement
