Packhouse manager

Purpose of the Position

The Packhouse Manager reports directly to the general manager and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and technical aspects related to the packhouse.

Key Responsibilities Execute strategies to enhance daily operations and technical aspects on the packhouse. Ensure efficient, safe and high-quality processing, packaging and distribution of fresh produce. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity and quality. Ensure that all machinery, fridges, electrical and other equipment remain in good working order, by issuing job cards and following up with the maintenance department. Ensure the logistics are properly coordinated for timely and efficient delivery of produce to customers.
