Packing and Crating Specialist

**Purpose and Scope:**

Performs traffic management cargo handling duties. Operates general and special purpose vehicles, materials handling equipment and cranes. Transports, handles and processes cargo for transportation modes. Loads/offloads 463L pallets, containers and trucks. Ensures compliance with the applicable USAF mandatory requirements. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Prepares freight offered for shipment to include packing, crating, weighing, marking, labeling and documenting cargo. Ensures hazardous materials are properly inspected, documented and certified.
+ Prepares and handles cargo in accordance with all prescribed regulations, instructions, technical orders and procedures.
