Job Summary

Packing & Dispatch Operative at Imerys Minerals Ltd – West Thurrock.

Salary: £27,642 per annum, permanent, 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Operate big bagging and associated equipment.
• Bulk load lorries, containers and tautliners.
• Maintain concise logs of production.
• Respect all site safety rules.
• Remove FGS pallets from the palletiser and place them in stock, keeping spreadsheets up to date.
• Record operational, quality, safety and environmental information as required.
• Understand internal product specification sheets and quality tests.
• Ensure the palletiser does not run out of pallets or hoods.
• Maintain a clean safe work area.
• Record data for continuous improvement.
• Operate the packing and mixing plant, diagnosing faults through the HMI.
• Receive raw materials and transfer to silos.
