This full‑time, fixed‑term post is ideal for refining general paediatric skills in a supportive environment before applying for consultant posts. The post offers broad exposure to a wide range of cases.

About the Team / Service / Location

The paediatric team comprises 10 consultants supported by 4 registrars and 4 house officers. In 2026 the maternity and neonatal unit at Taranaki Base Hospital will move into a purpose‑built new unit, offering a unique opportunity to shape future care.
