Paint Plant & Powder Coating Operative
Location: St Helens, England, North West.
Job Type: Permanent.
Pay: £13.74 per hour.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7 am to 3:30 pm, Friday 7 am to 12:30 pm (37.5 hours per week).
We are supporting a well‑established manufacturing business specialising in bespoke equipment for telecoms networks. The company is growing and seeks a dedicated operative to help produce high‑quality powder‑coated components to exact customer specifications, ensuring products meet the highest quality standards before moving to the next stage of manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Correct loading, unloading and inspection of items on and off the paint line.
- Correct handling and storage of materials.
- Preparation and masking of parts to be painted.
- Correct hanging of items to be painted, using hooks and jigs to maximise efficiency.
