Salary: £30,656.92 per annum

Contract: Permanent, full time – 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP Portland, a category C adult male and YOI prison. We work Monday to Friday as a supportive and driven family, working together to create a safe and nurturing environment.

As a Painter & Decorator you will work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues in a dynamic maintenance team, contributing to the safety and security of the facility.

Qualifications

• A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent (or significant experience/time served in a similar role)
• Experience working in a maintenance team
• Honest and reliable character, who can approach their work with a sense of purpose and pace
