Painter I

Position Purpose

Under supervision from the Building Repair Shop Supervisor and senior technicians, the Painter I completes quality painting projects requiring attention to appearance, function and durability. Develops painting skills and techniques to prepare and coat interior and exterior walls, ceilings and other surfaces of the College’s buildings and structures. Works as a crew member on large scale projects or with a senior technician on smaller routine projects. The Painter I is an entry level position with a specified level of skill and proficiency in the execution of painting duties. High school graduate or equivalent.

Must hold a valid driver’s license and be qualified under the terms of the Dartmouth College Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Policy.
