Opportunity Description
Perform duties to set up and operate automatic presses to blank friction material facings in accordance with customer requirements and high quality standards.
Work from set up procedures, control plans, control plan addendums, press operating procedures and instructions:
+ Produce on average 60,000 friction material facings per machine per shift. Demonstrate proficiency in setting up one (1) 60 ton press while simultaneously operating the other assigned press.
+ Adjust servo feeds to correspond to part numbers being produced and for proper press timing and operation.
+ Adjust press counterbalance for correct blanking press pressure.
+ Adjust press ram to correct blanking height.
+ Load, feed and replace coil stock through blanking presses and adjust guides for proper material flow.
+ Program and align ink jet automated unit and ensure proper part number data and placement on material.
