Opportunity Description
Intake Paralegal:
Working under close supervision with required assistance readily available, and following standard operating procedures and guidelines, performs the following tasks.
+ Compiles and prepares supporting documentation for use by claim review attorneys in discovery/preparation of claims processing in system of record (CMS).
+ Ensure all incoming correspondence reviewed for completeness ensuring file documents match claimant and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) compliance prior to CMS upload.
+ Combine claimant documentation and ensure all relevant and supplemental documents, amendments and other transcripts via CMS document type are included in the file. Ensure all required document fields have been filled out by the claimant.
+ Maintains case files, indexes, tracks, and controls electronic and hard copy case files for claim review attorney.
+ Performs simple legal research via CPC tool, MML and CORA.
