Paramedic Position

The Paramedic will provide safe and timely ground transport of patients, while also providing both basic and advanced life support care. The Paramedic will monitor patient's condition during ground transport to provide optimal stabilization through professional and specialized care. Ability to adapt to new skills and information is essential to succeed in this role including mechanical ventilation, Balloon Pump and advanced monitoring. Documents patients' status, delivery of care and the evaluation of the patients' response to care according to agency, county and NC OEMS protocols. Ability to effectively demonstrate all county and NC OEMS approved skills. Positive decision-making abilities and actions with patients and families are determined in an ethical manner by practicing compassion and respect for the inherent dignity, worth, and unique attributes of each person.
