Opportunity Description
The part-time academic will be responsible for teaching: LEIS 3127: Leisure Education. The course will be offered in the fall term, from September 1-December 30, 2026. NOTE: This is an in-person course that involves lecture, experiential activities, discussion format.
This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to facilitate leisure education interventions designed to bring about desired changes in the leisure behaviour of individuals with disabilities. While the focus of the course is on leisure education, the overarching concepts of health, wellness, and health promotion will be incorporated into the course material.
