Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize rooms including furnishings in assigned work areas
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry, causing minimal disruption to service users and their care
• Communicate and engage effectively with service users, their families and colleagues; strong interpersonal and working relationship skills are essential
• Work independently without direct supervision
• Use a variety of cleaning products, paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products
• Work on your own initiative and maintain a high level of hygiene within the home
