Strengthen your expertise in surgical pathology as a Pathologists' Assistant at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. This part-time position focuses on specimen examination and technical procedures.
PRHC is seeking a meticulous and skilled Pathologists' Assistant to contribute to our surgical pathology department. Working under the supervision of pathologists and medical directors, your role will involve dissection of specimens and coordination of analysis to ensure timely and accurate patient diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed dissections of surgical pathology samples
• Dictate descriptions for histologic analysis
• Collaborate with laboratory team members for efficiency
• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards
• Assist with additional laboratory duties as required
Requirements:
• Active membership with CAP-ACP for Pathologists’ Assistants
• Current registration with CMLTO as Medical Laboratory Technologist
